Gregorio Segura is an experienced software engineering professional, currently serving as the Applied AI Lead Engineer at OfficeSpace Software since December 2025. Prior to this role, Gregorio held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Backcountry from February 2010 to December 2025, where responsibilities included leading GCP cloud migration and modernization efforts and delivering scalable solutions for e-commerce. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II, focused on back-end development in the Search Platform Team, as well as freelance work at AshlarBox Systems LLC. Gregorio also contributed to several outsourcing projects as a Software Engineer II at Avantica, and as an Outsourcing Software Engineer at Chordiant Software, where the development of a recommendations application utilizing Java, Spring, and Hibernate was a key achievement. Gregorio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, completed in 2006.
