Tristan Ursell, PhD, is a project manager, science communicator, data scientist, quantitative modeler, and biophysicist dedicated to addressing climate challenges. With a career that spans academia and startup environments, Tristan has led technical teams in research and development, resulting in over 20 peer-reviewed publications and innovative technologies for molecular identification. Previously serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Oregon, Tristan mentored young researchers while engaging in scientific communication at various levels. Currently, as the Agritech & Climate Product Manager at Carbonleap IO, Tristan focuses on enhancing integrity in the voluntary carbon market through research and development efforts.
