Everett Thompson

Everett Thompson has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1991, they began their career at Foster Wheeler International Corporation as a venture developer, technology promoter, and finance and plant engineering representative for the Asia-Pacific and Mexico regions. In 2000, they transitioned to Equinix as an employee #350 and served as the Director of Data Center, Network, International, and Strategic Business Development. In 2008, they joined Wired Real Estate Group Inc. as a Cloud Computing, Data Center, and Edge Computing Research, Planning, Development, and Go-to-Market advisor for marquee clients including Verizon, Wells Fargo, Citi, Iron Mountain, Goldman, and half of the top banks in the US. In 2017, they joined Colliers International as the SVP of Cloud and Data Center Business Development, responsible for the P&L, account development, recruiting, and training. Additionally, they became a Technical Standards Committee member at the International Data Center Authority. In 2019, they became a Founder Advisor and Investor of Offsight. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Digital Realty as the Cloud and Data Center Business Development representative for new market development for scale cloud, SaaS, and hybrid cloud deployments.

Everett Thompson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Oregon State University. Everett also attended University of California, Berkeley to study Internet Architecture, E-commerce, and Entrepreneurship. Everett earned a degree in Network Engineering from University of California, Santa Cruz, and studied International Finance and Computer Programming at University of San Diego. Lastly, they attended Portland State University to study Business Law.
