James Murray

James Murray has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. James started their career at Techspace Aero where they served as the Head of Space Development, contributing to the supply of major fluid control components for European rocket engines. After that, they founded BOOSTER sprl. and served as the CEO, focusing on building alliances and developing the private space market. James then joined v-plane GmbH where they held various roles including Compliance Verification Engineer and Chief Engineer and Head of Projects Office, assisting other companies in aircraft development and certification. Most recently, they co-founded OffWorld and served as the Chief Engineer, with a focus on solving global challenges through off-world infrastructure and technology.

James Murray's education history starts with their time at the College of the Bahamas from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Following this, they attended the University of Bristol from 1990 to 1994 and earned a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace. In 1995, they briefly studied at the International Space University, specializing in Multidisciplinary Space, and finally completed their education at the University of Bristol in 1998, where they obtained a PhD in Aerospace and Rocket Engines.
