Cesar Ortiz has extensive experience in risk management and financial operations, currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director of Retail Business Development at Oriental since July 2007. Previous positions at Oriental include Corporate Performance Office Director, SVP of Commercial Credit and Operations, SVP and Chief Risk Officer, SVP Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, and SVP and Head of Risk Management. Prior to Oriental, Cesar Ortiz was the SVP, Chief Accounting and Corporate Controller at Doral Financial Corporation from July 2006 to June 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management (2016), a Juris Doctor from Inter American University School of Law (2005), and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (1997).
