Alan Dias

Alan Dias has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Alan most recently served as the Head of Service Delivery and Operations at Ofgem since December 2019. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they were the Head of Technology at the Department for International Development (DFID).

Alan has also held positions at BSkyB, where they worked from 2009 to 2018. Alan initially joined as a Team Leader in February 2009 and then became an Infrastructure Support Manager from January 2010 to March 2018.

Before their time at BSkyB, Alan worked as a Technical Architect at companies such as Capita in 2008 and Produban from 2007 to 2008. Alan also served as a Team Leader & Technical Architect at Abbey from 1999 to 2007 and as a Team Leader & IBM Server Support Engineer at IBM from 1994 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated a strong background in technology and leadership roles, gaining valuable experience in various sectors.

Alan Dias completed their BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Loughborough University between 1991 and 1994.
