Andy Lord

Andy Lord has extensive legal experience, starting in 2010 as a Trainee Solicitor at Mayer Brown, where they gained experience in corporate, pensions, and financial litigation. Andy also completed a six-month secondment at EMI Records in the Business Affairs department. In 2012, they joined Eversheds Sutherland as an Associate, later becoming a Senior Associate. During their time there, they worked on various legal matters. In 2012, they also had a trainee solicitor secondment at EMI Music. In 2019, they joined the Government Legal Department as a Lawyer and worked there until July 2023. Andy's most recent position is as a Senior Expert Lawyer at Ofgem, starting in July 2023.

Andy Lord attended the University of Cambridge from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in History. Subsequently, they enrolled in the College of Law in London from 2008 to 2009, completing their Graduate Diploma in Law. Following this, Andy attended Kaplan Law School in London, where they pursued a Legal Practice Course from 2009 to 2010.
