Heat Networks Policy Expert

Anna Stacey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory policy and enforcement within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Heat Networks Policy Expert at Ofgem since April 2011, Anna is instrumental in establishing a new regulatory regime for heat networks as appointed by BEIS. Previously, Anna held several key positions at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, including Head of Settlement Reform and Head of Policy, Enforcement, and Competition Policy, as well as Joint Head of the National Minimum Wage at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. Anna's academic background includes a Ph.D. in High Energy Physics from Imperial College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law from King's College London, alongside a degree in Natural Science (Physics) from the University of Cambridge.
