Barbara Walsh

Barbara Walsh's work experience includes positions at Ofgem, the Student Loans Company, Global Kombat Entertainment, and Controlled Solutions Group. Barbara currently works as a Business Resilience Specialist at Ofgem, starting in April 2023. From February 2022 to April 2023, they worked as a Senior Business Continuity Coordinator at the Student Loans Company. Prior to that, they held the role of Business Continuity Coordinator from March 2018 to March 2022 at the same company. In their role at Global Kombat Entertainment from October 2015 to March 2018, they served as a Senior Event Manager. Barbara also worked as a Senior Event Manager at the same company from April 2010 to March 2015, where they were responsible for various tasks, including venue booking, financial control, travel arrangements, staff recruitment and training, and event management. Barbara also worked briefly as a Security Supervisor at Controlled Solutions Group from May 2014 to September 2014, overseeing staff during event setup and security checks.

Barbara Walsh completed their education at City of Glasgow College, where they obtained a HND in Events Management from 2012 to 2014. Barbara received the principals award for outstanding academic achievement during their time at the college. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they pursued further education at the University of the West of Scotland, where they obtained a BA in Business with a focus on Events Management.
