Benjamin Bristow has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Benjamin began their career at Dragons Design as a Web Developer from September 2014 to May 2017. Subsequently, they joined Arnold Clark as a Web Developer from May 2016 to August 2017, where they contributed to various projects and worked on the company's flagship website using a range of technologies such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Git/GitHub.

Following this, Benjamin moved to Traveltek Ltd. where they worked as a Web Developer from November 2017 to June 2019. During this time, they primarily focused on frontend development for B2C and B2B travel e-commerce sites using JavaScript, jQuery, and the Mozilla Nunjucks templating library. Benjamin also initiated the migration to a React-based solution and utilized Git/GitHub for version control.

In 2019, Benjamin joined Sword ITS as a Developer, working with Equiniti & Canada Life on their web pensions platform for Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs). Benjamin employed C#/.NET Core ASP WebAPI for backend development and Angular 7+ for frontend, delivering software solutions.

Most recently, Benjamin has been working at Ofgem since June 2020. Benjamin started as a Software Engineer, primarily focusing on the Renewable Electricity Register (RER) project, centered around the administration of renewable energy schemes. Benjamin developed software solutions utilizing C#/.NET Core with SQL Server 2019 and ASP.NET. Benjamin then progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer before becoming a Principal Software Engineer starting in January 2023.

Benjamin Bristow attended the Healing Academy from 2008 to 2013, where they completed their GCSE education. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they attended Franklin Sixth Form College, where they pursued A2 Level Computing, AS level English Language, and A2 Level Media Studies. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Benjamin studied at the University of the West of Scotland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Web & Mobile Development (BSc).
