Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Ofgem

Christopher Rickard has several years of experience in the field of infrastructure engineering and support.

Christopher started their career at St. John Payne Catholic School in 2007 as a Senior IT/Network Technician, where they monitored and maintained the school's network infrastructure and managed the active directory. Christopher worked in this role until April 2011.

Following that, they worked at Capita Secure Information Solutions as a Support Engineer from April 2011 to August 2013.

From September 2013 to July 2014, Christopher worked at Instant On IT as a Support Engineer, where they provided first through third line support for systems and network administration.

In 2014, they joined Save the Children UK as an Infrastructure Engineer and later became a Senior Infrastructure Engineer from March 2019 to January 2020.

In January 2020, they joined the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as an Infrastructure Lead, where they worked until December 2020.

Finally, they joined Ofgem in December 2020 as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Christopher Rickard attended The Appleton School from 1998 to 2003. Afterward, they pursued A-Levels in Computing, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at SEEVIC College from 2003 to 2005. In 2011, Christopher attended ITEC Learning Technologies to earn their MCITP - Systems Administrator degree.
