Dale Winch has over 10 years of experience in various roles related to policy management and renewable energy schemes. Dale is currently working as a Senior Policy Manager at Ofgem, where they have been since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Analyst/Manager at Ofgem from August 2018 to September 2022. In 2017, Dale worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, where they focused on understanding the impact of low emission vehicles on the energy system. Before that, they had a long tenure at Ofgem from 2007 to 2017, during which they held roles such as Feed-in Tariff Manager, Assistant Manager for Feed-in Tariff Compliance, Assistant Manager for New Scheme Development, and Renewables Administrator. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing key operational aspects of the Government's Feed-in Tariff scheme and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Dale has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, policy design, and financial management in the renewable energy sector.

Dale Winch received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Essex in the years 2003 to 2006. In addition to this, they also obtained a certification in Foundation Project Management from APM in December 2014.
