Darren Hay

Darren Hay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Darren currently works at Ofgem as a Senior Engagement Analyst, having held previous roles as Engagement Manager and Assistant Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Darren worked as a Music Journalist and Content Writer for LOOP. Darren also served as a Digital Marketing Manager and Content Writer in a self-employed capacity. Before pursuing freelance work, Darren worked as an English Second Language Teacher for three years. Darren gained valuable experience as a Marketing Analyst Assistant at Posito Consulting, where they conducted research and analysis on the music industry. Additionally, Darren worked as a Customer Support Technician at Gamma and as a Retention Sales Advisor at Sky. Darren started their career as an Arts Facilitator and Events Manager at Troubadour Collective before co-founding and managing their own transportation company, S.W.H & Sons Transport.

Darren Hay attended the University of the West of Scotland from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commercial Music. In addition, they obtained a TEFL (120 Hours) certification from the TEFL Institute in March 2018.
