Hamish Swanson is a lawyer currently serving as a Senior Policy and Legal Advisor for the Minister for Health since 2023 and as a Legal Adviser for Ofgem since 2024. Previously, Hamish worked as a lawyer at Gilshenan & Luton Legal Practice from 2020 to 2022 and held positions as a paralegal at Mills Oakley and Clayton Utz in 2018. Hamish also served as a legal and policy adviser for the Queensland Attorney-General and Minister for Justice from 2022 to 2023 and was a judge's associate to both a Supreme Court Judge and a District Court Judge in 2020. Hamish completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Arts from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The Australian National University.
