Henry Green

Henry Green currently serves as the Deputy Director for Strategy at Ofgem since September 2023 and holds a part-time Visiting Fellow position at the University of Southampton, where responsibilities include building climate and energy policy capability and advising research projects. Prior to these roles, Henry was Head of Net Zero Delivery and Systems at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from June 2020 to September 2023, overseeing the Government’s net zero strategy and coordinating significant funding activities. Previous experience includes senior roles in the Cabinet Office focusing on Covid-19 response, leadership at the Government Office for Science, and various postings during the Civil Service Fast Stream. Henry Green earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from University College London in 2012.
