Iain McDonald

Iain McDonald is a seasoned content designer with extensive experience across diverse sectors, currently working at Ofgem since December 2023. Previously, Iain worked at Virgin Money as a Content Designer, focusing on cross-bank content projects for both Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank. Prior roles include Associate Content Designer at The Scottish Government, where I managed content for Social Security Scotland, and Digital Content Editor at DC Thomson, where I led digital activities for “The People’s Friend.” Other notable positions include Corporate Affairs Officer and Marketing and Communications Officer at the University of Dundee, English Content Manager at LMTD, and Community Manager at Carrot Creative, along with early experiences at VisitScotland and as a Features Writer. Iain holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of St Andrews.
