Jay Shah has a diverse work experience history. Jay started their career as a Sales Assistant at Debenhams in November 2017 and worked there until April 2020. During their time at Debenhams, they excelled in delivering excellent customer service, achieved recognition for promoting and opening the highest number of Debenhams Mastercards in their store's region, and consistently met sales targets. Jay also took on the role of training and mentoring new staff members.

In June 2020, Jay worked as a Consultant at Queen Mary University of London, where they participated in a team consultancy project for digital marketing company Liberty Comms. Jay worked collaboratively in a team of five to deliver a 30-minute presentation and a 31-page report to the client. Jay effectively communicated and presented remotely using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Jay's most recent work experience is at Ofgem, where they started in October 2020. Jay first worked as a Participant Audit Officer until September 2021, then they were promoted to Assistant Manager Participant Audit until July 2023. Currently, Jay holds the role of Audit Team Manager at Ofgem.
