Kate Buckley

Kate Buckley has a diverse work experience across various organizations. Kate started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Southfield School for Girls in September 2015, and later worked as an Administrative Assistant at the same school in July 2016. In July 2018, they interned as a Political Communications Intern at the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA). Kate then served as Vice President at the International Development and One Durham Society from June 2018 to May 2019. In November 2019, they became an LSE Change Maker at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) until July 2020. From August 2020 to October 2021, they worked as a Parliamentary Assistant to Sarah Olney MP at the House of Commons. In October 2021, they joined Citizens Advice as a Policy Researcher. Kate is currently working as a Researcher at Ofgem, starting in May 2023.

Kate Buckley started their education at Southfield School for Girls from 2008 to 2015. Kate then went on to attend Durham University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religion. Later, in 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science in Social Anthropology at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
