Liz Helps

Liz Helps is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance, Planning and Performance at Ofgem. With a robust background, Liz previously held key roles such as Head of Finance for the Commonwealth Games Delivery Unit and Deputy Finance Director at the Department for Business and Trade. Liz's experience spans over a decade in various finance positions within government departments, where they contributed to strategic financial planning, governance, and team leadership. Liz also chaired the North East Student Society for CIPFA, focusing on training and development activities for finance students. Liz is furthering their education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
