Matt Hopkinson

Matt Hopkinson is currently the Head of Media, External Affairs and Internal Comms at Ofgem since April 2022. Prior to this, Matt held positions as the Head of News and Head of External Comms at HM Revenue & Customs from March 2015 to April 2022. Before that, Matt was the Chief Press Officer at the NSPCC from October 2011 to March 2015. Matt has extensive experience in managing communications teams and formulating media strategies in various organizations, including the Department for Education and the Government News Network. Matt holds a degree in Politics and Contemporary History from Brunel University London.
