Mertcan Agir

Mertcan Agir is a Senior Policy Manager at Ofgem, where Mertcan leads the design and implementation of policies governing Great Britain's electricity interconnectors and cross-border market arrangements for post-Brexit policy. Mertcan also has experience in offshore transmission monitoring and compliance. In addition to their current role, Mertcan serves as an Ambassador at the Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Forum. Mertcan's educational background includes a BSc in Oil, Gas, and Energy Management from Coventry University.
