Mike P.

Mike P. serves as the Regulatory Security Assurance Principal at Ofgem since September 2025, leading initiatives to enhance energy regulation while prioritizing consumer protection. From January 2022 to September 2025, Mike P. was the Head of Cyber Resilience at Digital Health and Care Wales, overseeing the implementation of NIS Regulations in the NHS. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government from April 2006 to January 2022, where Mike P. led technology-enabled care initiatives and managed significant national projects. Early career roles include various project management and systems development positions at ELWa and West Wales TEC. Mike P. holds a BSc in Computing & Information Systems from Swansea Institute of Higher Education and a BSc in Materials Science & Technology from Swansea University.
