Director Of Financial Resilience And Controls at Ofgem

Rohan Churm has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rohan started their career at the Bank of England in 2001 as an Analyst in the Monetary Instruments and Markets Division. Rohan then took a sponsored study leave from September 2003 to August 2004. Upon their return, they continued to progress within the organization, serving in roles such as Economist in the UK Team, Senior Economist in the UK Forecast Team, and Private Secretary to the Chief Economist. In June 2011, Rohan became the Senior Manager in the Monetary Assessment and Strategy Division, where they worked until September 2014 when they were promoted to Head of the Stress Testing Strategy Division. From November 2017 to June 2022, Rohan served as the Head of the Foreign Exchange Division before moving on to become the Head of Future Balance Sheet from April 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Resilience and Controls at Ofgem, starting in March 2023.

Rohan Churm began their education at New College Swindon from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Government and Politics. Rohan then attended the University of Cambridge from 1998 to 2001, earning a Master of Arts - MA degree in Economics. After a break, they pursued further education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2003 to 2004, where they completed a Master of Science - MSc degree in Economics and Finance.
