Shannon Murray

Shannon Murray has work experience in the energy sector, starting in 2019 as an Energy and Environmental Graduate at Everwarm. In this role, they gained experience in the field until August 2020. Following this, they joined Ofgem in August 2020 as a Policy Manager for the Energy Systems Transition (EST) team. In February 2023, Shannon was promoted to the position of Senior Policy Manager within Ofgem.

Shannon Murray's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at the University of Strathclyde to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. In 2018, Shannon furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sustainable Engineering, with a focus on Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment. Their academic journey concluded in 2019.
