Sinan Küfeoğlu

Sinan Küfeoğlu has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Sinan is currently working as a Senior Policy Manager at Ofgem since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, where they collaborated with various organizations on the commercial deployment of hydrogen energy. Sinan also worked as an Advisor at EBRD, leading a research collaboration with the University of Cambridge on digital resilience in critical infrastructure.

Sinan Küfeoğlu has a background in academia as well. Sinan held positions at the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate and MPhil Supervisor. Sinan conducted research on topics such as the feasibility of using electric vehicles as domestic storage systems and new business models for energy trading. Sinan also served as a Teaching Assistant and Visiting Lecturer at UCL.

Sinan Küfeoğlu earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University in 2009. Sinan then pursued further studies at Aalto University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering in 2011. Sinan Küfeoğlu continued their education at Aalto University, completing a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their academic degrees, Sinan Küfeoğlu obtained a certification in A! Peda Intro, Pedagogical Education from Aalto University in 2013. This certification was obtained in Espoo, Finland.
