Susan Brush

Susan Brush is an electricity and energy systems professional currently serving as a Senior Policy Lead at Ofgem. They work within the electricity transmission network charging team, collaborating with government colleagues to develop policies that support the transition of Britain's electricity system. Susan has completed a PhD on the impact of grid-scale batteries on electricity systems at the University of Strathclyde, where they also co-authored a significant publication on energy technologies for net zero. Their previous experience includes roles as an Environmental Manager and Technologist at Tata Steel, as well as positions in environmental consultancy and community energy initiatives.
