Tim Ince has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim is currently working at Ofgem as the Head of CCUS Policy since 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior CCUS Policy Manager from 2022 to 2023 and Senior Nuclear Policy Manager from 2021 to 2022 at Ofgem.
Before joining Ofgem, Tim worked at ExxonMobil as a Cost Engineer from 2019 to 2021. Tim also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from 2018 to 2019 and as an Associate at Deutsche Bank from 2017 to 2018.
Their early career includes a significant tenure at Barclays Investment Bank, where they held the position of Associate/Analyst in the UK Corporate Broking team from 2012 to 2017. During their time at Barclays, they developed analytical and research skills, assisted in developing databases and process models, gained experience in executing corporate finance transactions, and built strong communication skills through regular interaction with senior management at major UK corporates.
Tim Ince attended the Royal Grammar School Guildford from 2004 to 2009. Then, from 2009 to 2012, they studied at the University of Cambridge, majoring in Natural Sciences.
