Ilyas Oz

Ilyas Oz is a seasoned professional in environmental science, currently serving as a Toezichthouder Energie at OFGV | Omgevingsdienst Flevoland & Gooi en Vechtstreek since January 2022. Previously, Ilyas worked as a Projectleider for We'RHERE.nl on the project "De nieuwe ingenieur" from November 2023 to 2024. Ilyas has extensive experience in environmental engineering, having held roles at the Ministerie van Milieu en Stedelijk van Turkije, where responsibilities included managing water and air pollution, waste management, and conducting environmental audits from January 2010 to September 2016. Additionally, Ilyas served as an independent consultant specializing in environmental issues for the Ministerie van Justitie van Turkije between January 2014 and July 2016. Earlier career experiences include HR/Payroll Officer roles and a traineeship in agricultural products. Ilyas holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Cukurova University, alongside professional education from Bestuursacademie Nederland between 2022 and 2023.
