Ashim Kar

Ashim Kar is an experienced professional in the coffee supply chain, currently serving as Country Manager for Olam Peru and Green Coffee Specialist at ofi since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Business Head and General Manager of Digital Disruption Strategies for Coffee at Olam, where responsibilities encompassed strategizing digital solutions and managing procurement and logistics in Central and South America. Earlier positions included Deputy Manager in Strategic Sourcing at Bharat Forge Ltd and Assistant Manager at Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, focusing on vendor management, logistics, and inventory control. Ashim holds an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a B.E. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
