Haydn Johnson

Principal, Rapid Water Infrastructure Policy at Ofwat

Haydn Johnson has a diverse background in the field of hydrology and water infrastructure policy. Haydn is currently working as a Principal at Ofwat, where they hold the position of RAPID Water Infrastructure Policy. Prior to this, Haydn worked as a Senior Associate at the same company. Haydn also has experience working as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant at Wood, and as a Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Assistant Consultant in Hydrology at Amec Foster Wheeler. Additionally, Haydn has worked as a Hydrologist at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and as a Postgraduate Hydrological Modeller at HydroEurope. In these roles, they have been involved in a wide range of projects, including flood risk assessments, hydrological modeling analysis, fieldwork, dataset analysis, laboratory analysis, and report writing.

Haydn Johnson received a BSc (hons) Dunelm in Geography from Durham University between 2006 and 2009. Haydn then pursued an MSc in Hydrology and Climate Change at Newcastle University from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they participated in the HydroEurope program at the Université Côte d'Azur. Haydn's education history also includes attending Bablake School from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, they hold a membership with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
