Ruth Noake

Ruth Noake has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Ruth currently works at Ofwat as the Head of Talent and Organisation Development. Prior to that, they worked at Jaguar Land Rover in various roles including HR Business Partner and HR Capability Manager. At Jaguar Land Rover, they played a key role in managing downsizing processes, delivering on ambitious timelines, and creating integrated people strategies.

Before their time at Jaguar Land Rover, Ruth worked at London Midland as an Organisation Development Manager, where they focused on leadership development, performance management, and talent management strategies. Ruth also worked at Centro as an Organisation Development Officer, leading the creation of development programs and introducing blended learning techniques.

Ruth's early work experience includes roles at Caldmore Area Housing Association, where they provided HR support to staff across multiple sites, and at Walsall Adult and Community College as an English as a Second Language Tutor. Ruth also worked at Walsall Council as a Technical Assistant. Overall, Ruth Noake has a strong background in HR and organisational development, with experience in various industries.

Ruth Noake completed a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Development (Via Roffey Park) from the University of Sussex in 2017-2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from the University of Wolverhampton in 2002-2003. Ruth also received a Disability Employment Managers BTEC Professional Development Award (Level 4) from Dudley College in 2001-2002. Additionally, Ruth holds a TESOL Certificate (Teaching English as a Second Language) from City College Coventry in 1997. Ruth'sundergraduate degree is a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Loughborough University, earned in 1992-1995. Ruth has obtained various certifications, including becoming a Certified HR Professional L7 (Fellow of ILM) in 2023, an Insights Discovery Practitioner in 2021, and completing various training programs such as EFQM Assessor Training in 2009, Level A & B Occupational Testing in 2007, FIRO-B Practitioner in 2005, and MBTI Practitioner in 2005.
