Adam Thomas

CTO at OFX

Adam Thomas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Adam started their career as a Consultant at PwC Consulting, working with clients in various industries. Adam then joined IBM as a Senior Managing Consultant, where they stayed for seven years. After that, Adam worked at Vodafone Hutchison Australia as a BSS Architect before moving to News Digital Media, where they served as a Solution Architect and Domain Architect. Adam joined News Corp Australia next, holding positions such as Head of Platforms, Digital Product & Development, and Head of Architecture and Technology Strategy. Adam then became the Global Chief Architect at News Corp before eventually joining OFX as the Head Of Engineering and later becoming the Chief Technology Officer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated leadership in technology strategy, team mentoring, and platform development.

Adam Thomas completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Information Technology at UNSW from 1993 to 1997. Adam also obtained additional certifications in Building Resilient Streaming Systems on Google Cloud Platform, Serverless Data Analysis with Google BigQuery and Cloud Dataflow, and Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform in 2018 from Coursera.
