Alex Eadie

Alex Eadie, CPA, CMA, CAMS has a diverse work experience in finance and risk management roles. Alex currently serves as the CFO - North America at OFX. Before joining OFX, they worked at FIRMA Foreign Exchange for several years and held various positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk & Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President of Operations & Compliance, and Executive Vice President. During their time at FIRMA, they successfully led M&A opportunities, realigned treasury operations, and implemented technology enhancements to drive cost savings. Alex also built an enterprise risk management framework and assembled a forecasting financial modeling team. Prior to FIRMA, Alex worked as the Chief Accountant/General Manager at Celcorp (Teradact Solutions), where they collaborated with executives on strategic planning.

Alex Eadie, CPA, CMA, CAMS, has a diverse education history. In 2021, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, focusing on Artificial Intelligence. In 2016, they studied Governance for Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. Alex also obtained the CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification from ACAMS. They received additional certifications such as Change Management Tips for Individuals, Operational Excellence Foundations, Preparing Yourself for Change, and various LinkedIn courses on communication, leadership, diversity, and inclusion. In 2022, Alex obtained the GRC Professional Certification from GRC Certify.
