Axel Freytag

Axel Freytag's work experience includes serving as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at OFX since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Corporate Development at OFX from October 2020 to March 2023. Axel also worked as a Manager at Strategy& from September 2018 to October 2020. Additionally, Axel worked as a Private Equity Associate at Värde Partners in 2017. Axel also had brief stints as an Associate at Kearney in 2017 and as an eMBA Fellow at Endeavor in 2016. Axel started their career at GE, where they served as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst from July 2014 to March 2016. Axel also participated in GE's Financial Management Program from January 2012 to July 2014 and worked as a Business Analyst from February 2011 to January 2012.

Axel Freytag completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Columbia Business School from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from McGill University between 2007 and 2010. In 2009, they also participated in a semester abroad at Uppsala University in Sweden. Before attending university, Axel attended Marianopolis College from 2005 to 2007 and Lower Canada College from 2003 to 2005. Axel completed their primary and secondary education at St. Andrew's Scots School / Escuela Escocesa San Andres from 1990 to 2003.
