David Byrne

David Byrne has a range of experience in finance and risk management roles. David is currently the Head of Commercial Finance for EMEA at OFX. Prior to this, they held roles as the Global head of Risk & Assurance and Head of Finance & Operations at OFX Payments Ireland. David also worked at OFX as the Global Head of Risk & Assurance and the Group Financial Controller. Before joining OFX, David worked at Commonwealth Bank as an Executive Manager and Senior Manager in Financial Risk and Reporting. David also held the position of External Reporting Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Accountant at TOGA, a Senior Consultant at Cross Country Consulting Inc, and an Assistant Manager at PwC.

David Byrne completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from University College Dublin in 2009. David later pursued a Master's degree in MBS Accounting from Dublin City University from 2009 to 2010.
