Leke Adebogun

Leke Adebogun has an extensive work experience in risk management and assurance. Leke currently serves as the Head of Risk and Assurance at OFX since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Enterprise Risk Manager at FIRMA Foreign Exchange from March 2020 to May 2023. Leke also held the role of Manager, Regulation and Risk Assessment at Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation (Alberta) from February 2019 to March 2020. In addition, Leke worked as a Manager, Risk Assurance Services at PwC from October 2018 to January 2019 and as an Assistant Manager, FS Risk Management at EY from June 2017 to September 2018. Leke started their career as a Senior Associate, Financial Risk Management at KPMG Nigeria from September 2014 to June 2017. Leke also worked as a Relationship Officer, Corporate Banking at Access Bank Plc from October 2011 to September 2014, where they were responsible for a range of functions including credit product development, risk asset origination and monitoring, customer relationship management, deposit mobilization, and management reporting.

Leke Adebogun, CPA, FRM pursued their education in a chronological manner. Leke obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ilorin. Leke then completed their ACCA qualification in Accounting and Finance from 2012 to 2016. In 2017 and 2018, they focused on Risk Management and obtained their Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Leke further enhanced their professional credentials by becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2019, certified by CPA Alberta. Additionally, they also hold the ACCA Member designation and has pursued additional certifications in Sustainability and Climate Risk from GARP.
