Marco Tapia

Marco Tapia has a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in a variety of industries. Marco started their career at Dell in 1997 as a sales representative. Marco then worked at MF Global as a registered futures representative for six years, focusing on commodities. In 2007, they joined ToroFX Global Payment Solutions as a corporate FX sales executive. After that, they worked at Equity Financial FX as a foreign exchange business development executive for four years. Most recently, Marco has been working at OFX since 2012 as the Team Lead of Sales & Business Development.

Marco Tapia completed the Derivatives Fundamentals Course & Futures Licensing Course at the Canadian Securities Institute from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they studied International Business at Seneca College from 1994 to 1997. In addition, Marco obtained a Sales Excellence Program certification from Dale Carnegie Training in November 2019.
