John Ruan

John Ruan is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in the shipping and freight forwarding industry. As the Founder and CEO of Oriental Global Logistics Limited since August 2015, John Ruan has specialized in third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing, pick and pack services, and freight forwarding. Prior to this role, John Ruan worked in pricing at APL from November 2012 to July 2015, focusing on UK/Ireland exports to the Middle East, India, Far East, and China. Additional experience includes pricing roles at United Arab Shipping Company Ltd. and various positions at "K" Line (Europe) Limited between January 2001 and August 2008, with operational experience gained in Shanghai and Chongqing. John Ruan holds a Bachelor's degree in Shipping Economics from Shanghai Maritime University, completed in 2001.
