Luis Sanchez

Luis Sanchez has extensive experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and software development, currently serving as the Lead GIS Applications Analyst at OGE Energy Corp. since February 2000. In this role, Sanchez is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and development of software and databases supporting transmission and distribution operations. Prior positions include GIS Supervisor and various programming roles that utilized technologies such as .NET, R, Python, and Tibco Designer. Previous experience includes a Teacher Assistant role at Oklahoma State University, software development for embedded systems at Ren Corporation, and service as an IC3 in the US Navy, maintaining and repairing communication equipment. Sanchez holds a degree in Ingeniero en Sistemas Informaticos y Computacion from Escuela Politécnica Nacional and has completed coursework towards a Master's in Computer Science at Oklahoma State University.
