David Lin was born and raised in Beijing until age 11, after which they moved to Hong Kong and attended Diocesan Boys' School before studying law at the London School of Economics. They trained as a solicitor at Linklaters Hong Kong from 2009 to 2011, qualifying in the Structured Finance and Derivatives team. David has significant experience representing corporate trustees in debt issuances and structured finance transactions. In 2014, they joined Ogier to leverage their finance and trustee expertise in an offshore setting, with a focus on investment funds in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. Currently, David serves as a Group Partner at Ogier in the British Virgin Islands.
