Marcus Leese

Marcus Leese is a Partner at Ogier, where they focus on offshore corporate and private wealth matters, including trusts, foundations, investment funds, banking, and corporate work. Admitted as a solicitor in the British Virgin Islands and England and Wales, as well as an advocate in Guernsey and a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand, Marcus joined Ogier in 1999 and became a partner in 2005. Since relocating to the Hong Kong office in 2010, they have led the Private Wealth and Banking and Finance practice groups. Prior to Ogier, Marcus practiced at Russell McVeagh in New Zealand and Arthur Andersen. They are a member of STEP and the Hong Kong Joint Committee on Trust Law Reform, and they frequently speak at conferences and contribute to professional journals.
