Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and director-level positions. Currently serving as Finance Director at Ogier since July 2023, Michael previously held the same role at IQ-EQ from January 2021 to June 2023, contributing to a leading investor services group with a strong global presence. Prior to IQ-EQ, Michael gained valuable expertise at JTC Group in various leadership roles from February 2015 to January 2021, and at Penta Investments as Financial Manager from July 2013 to February 2015, where responsibilities included establishing accounting functions and managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. Michael's career began at Ernst & Young, working as Assistant Manager from August 2008 to July 2013, leading audit teams and engaging with clients on complex financial reporting. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance from the University of Durham and training from ICAS.
