Markus Erhard

Markus Erhard has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, working in various roles with different companies. Markus started their career in 1990 as a Project Engineer at Kayser-Threde GmbH, where they worked on spaceborne optical instruments and telescopes. In 2003, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager in the same company, overseeing space optical instruments and telescopes. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Team Leader for Space Systems Engineering at Kayser-Threde GmbH. Since 2015, they have been working as the Head of Department for Optical Systems at OHB System.

Markus Erhard attended Munich University of Applied Sciences from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Precision Engineering and Applied Optics. Markus completed their studies and graduated with a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) degree.
