Scott Handel has over 30 years of experience in the film and production industry. Scott started as a Production Manager at Dan Black Productions in 1992 before becoming a Director of Photography at Ohio HD Crews in 1993. Scott founded their own production company, Scott Handel Productions, LLC., in 1993 providing top crews and gear for Ohio-based projects. Scott transitioned to Ohio HD Video in 1995 as a freelance producer and DP. In 2001, they became the President/CEO of OHD Studios, aimed at providing the latest well-maintained production tools available for rental. In 2022, Scott returned to OHD Studios in Louisville as its President. Throughout their career, Scott gained extensive experience in producing and directing for a wide range of shows and projects in over 48 states and 6 countries.
Scott Handel attended Ohio University from 1990-1995, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Prior to this, they attended Newark High School, though the years of attendance and any additional academic achievements are unknown.
