Amanda Shimp

Amanda Shimp is the Associate Director of Business Operations at the Department of Athletics at The Ohio State University, where they have been expanding their knowledge of college athletics since 2021. Previously, Shimp served in various roles within athletics, including as an Associate Head Lacrosse Coach at Virginia Tech and an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Winthrop University. They also gained experience in event management and operations with organizations such as the Louisville Lightning and the American Junior Golf Association. Amanda holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Middle Childhood Education from The Ohio State University, an MS in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville, and an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Winthrop University.
