Erin Spring

Erin Spring is a seasoned professional in material science and innovation, currently serving as Senior Director of Material Science at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company since June 2004. Erin leads a team focused on developing advanced products and fostering sustainable practices. Previously held positions include Senior Director of New Ventures, Director of New Ventures, Manager of Customer Centered Innovation, Project Leader for the Innovation Creation Process, Chief Engineer in Applied Physical Metrology, and Development Engineer in Global Materials Science. In addition to roles at Goodyear, Erin co-chairs the Polymer Industry Cluster Executive Board, is a board member for the Greater Akron Chamber, and serves as an advisor to OhioX. Erin has also acted as a board observer for Envoy - Mobility as an Amenity™. Educational qualifications include a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Management from The University of Akron.
