Gerard O'Farrell

Gerard O'Farrell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gerard began their career in 1985 with the OHM Group, where they served as the Director and Head of the Car Division. In 1994, they joined Jaguar Land Rover Ireland as a Director. In 2004, they transitioned to Spirit Motor Group, again taking on the role of Director. In 2018, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for the Sandyford Business District. Additionally, Gerard O'Farrell is a Member of the Management Board for SIMI - Society of the Irish Motor Industry, a position they have held since 2017 and will continue until May 2023.

Gerard O'Farrell's education history begins in 1976 when they attended Rockbrook Park School. Gerard completed their secondary education there and obtained their Leaving Certificate in 1982.

In 1982, they furthered their education at Technological University Dublin, where they pursued a Diploma in Motor Management. Gerard completed this program in 1985 and gained knowledge in Automotive Technical & Management.

In 1992, Gerard enrolled in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) program. Gerard studied Accountancy for non-Financial Managers, focusing on Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Management. Gerard completed this program in 1993.

Most recently, Gerard attended the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School until 2019. Gerard pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Development & Innovation, which they successfully completed at a Level 9.
