Chock Karuppaiah

Chockkalingam 'Chock' Karuppaiah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Ohmium and Founder & Chairman of the Board at Vetri Labs, Chock also chairs the Center of Excellence in Energy & Sustainability at FalconX Gateway, focusing on supporting startups in energy and sustainability. As an Angel Investor at Sandhill Angels, Chock invests in early to medium-stage startups across various sectors. Chock co-founded the Vetrivel Foundation, emphasizing mother tongue-based education, and previously held significant roles at Bloom Energy, including Vice President of Fuel Cell Stack Engineering. Chock's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry and Fuel Cells from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.Tech in Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute.
