Rasool Aghatehrani

Rasool Aghatehrani is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Ohmium since January 2021. Prior to this role, Rasool held the position of Vice President, Grid Integration & Development Engineering at SB Energy (SoftBank Group) from May 2019 to January 2021. At NRG Energy, from April 2016 to April 2019, Rasool focused on the management of grid integration and interconnection planning for utility scale wind, solar, and community energy storage projects. Rasool also worked at SunEdison from July 2011 to April 2016, where responsibilities included managing power and control systems and serving as a Senior Technical Lead, emphasizing transmission and distribution power systems analysis. Rasool holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from North Dakota State University and a Master of Science - MS in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from Sharif University of Technology.
