Lukáš Šavol

Lukáš Šavol has a diverse work experience in the field of IT, with their most recent position being at Ohpen as a DevOps Engineer (AWS) since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Descartes Systems Group as a Linux System Engineer from January 2019 to June 2021. In 2018, they served as a Linux/VMware Engineer at Scheidt & Bachmann, and in 2017 they held the role of Linux System Administrator at Descartes Systems Group. Lukáš also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Continuity Services Technical Engineer from November 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they had experience as a Linux System Administrator at AT&T from January 2014 to November 2015, and as a Unix/Linux Administrator from July 2012 to January 2014. Additionally, Lukáš has had previous roles as a co-owner/IT Admin at Safix s.r.o. and as an IT Department Support Engineer at the National Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetology Ľubochňa from 2007 to 2012.

Lukáš Šavol earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from the Technical University of Kosice, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in Kosice. Lukáš attended this institution from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Vocational School Ružomberok from 1999 to 2003, where they studied Mechanic in Electronics and Computer Technology. Additionally, Lukáš Šavol obtained the certification of HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) from HashiCorp in January 2023.
